Preserved Topic: Who Stands (Page 1 of 1)

Some of you may remember the previous version of this site. At the request of the band, I've been working on a new design, similar to the old one but still different. You can see the current version at http://www.whostands.com/ and the new one at http://www.whostands.com/newdesign/ . The band likes the new one, I'm interested in what you guys think!

Oh, by the way, none of the links work, and the large picture of the band in the middle of the page will only be on the front page, so don't worry about that particular image too much.

I'm a big fan of horizontal stripes across the tops of web pages....Your design works for me...simple and concise...my only suggestion is to maybe add a bit of pizazz...it seems a little flat to me.

It's almost the same design isn't it? I like the blue to full color hover thing you've got goin' there but the combination of the sectioning, vertical orientation and text/dividers the background pic gets a little obscured. Other than that it's almost identical and still slightly ho-hum. It needs slime? take out the heavy JH and insert copious amounts of Slime.

Narr, I like the current site better. It just seems more profesional and cleaner looking.

I would say it's a definite improvement. Mainly because I don't like the duplicate blurred text effect... way played out if you ask me. I think the band looks cooler with the in-studio pictures rather than the overall group, but the rest of the design has a slicker feel to it.

Gotta go with Boudga on this one. An accent color is needed. It's a real good layout though
