i guess i just wasnt thinking about it when i originally coded it (partially because it wasnt all coded at the same time).

the highest resolution my monitor can get to is 1024x768 (and it looks fine). i was told in higher resolutions, though, that the ocean bed doesnt appear at the bottom of the page. i added a small fix for it, but i dont know if it works or not, especially in netscape, opera, etc.

uh, i guess if you want to make other comments.. go for it, but theres not much content.

That's odd.. I'm running in the same Res as me.maX and the sand sit's right at the bottom. I only say the water under the sand when I pushed my monitor up to 1280 x 1024 AND it hit the Full Screen Mode (F11) in IE 5. It still worked the way it should have in 1280 x 1024 Maxamised, just not in Fullscreen Mode, which I don't think many people use anyway, especially not if their screen hres it that Hight in the first place. I would have tested it at a higher res, but there's only so much my poor little 15" Trinitron can do.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Not many people surf around with a screen res that high anyways. I'm stll not too srue why mr.maX had problems at 1152x864.

Anyhows, gotta go change m,y screen res back not, this flickering is really hurting my eyes!

ps. I love you site, it looks wonderful, you have a very unique talent there, keep it up! Hope you find yourself a happier monitor soon

Dracusis, sometime last night i added a javascript to it so that it will snag your screen height and subtract the heights of the other images to determine the middle table height. people who have javascript turned off get a table height=60%.

thanks for the kind words :-)

Hmmm, using shitscape at 1024x768, I see a thin blue line at the bottom and a ~10px blue space at the lower right (I assume that's the whole right side)

BTW, why this:

code:
<noscript><table cellpadding=0 cellpadding=0 border=0 width=100% height="60%"></noscript>

?

the noscript is for people who have javascript turned off or dont have a javascript enabled browser.

the only way i could get netscape 4.73 to do what you described in 1024x768 is by completely collapsing all of the tool bar pannels. it also does it in ie if you jump up to full screen mode. im counting on very few people to actually do those things.
