Preserved Topic: New Tutorial (Page 1 of 1)

I'm not sure where to post this...
The response to my first tutorial was pretty good so think I'll keep doing more. Everyone wanted to see more illustrator tut's so that is what I did. I realized that the same basic idea would also work in photoshop, just replace "Clipping Masks" with "Layer Masks" and you could do this in photoshop. I'm also working on a illustrator basics tut, but I did this first as it is pretty cool and easy to explain.

jedart: Welcome. I'm not sure this forum is the right place but, like you, I'm not sure which other forum it would fit in exactly. I'll leave it here for the time being - it might end up in the main forum or somewhere else. Ideas?

I wonder if I'm interpreting 'Photoshop' too restrictively as a forum titlebut does that mean we can put Gimp, PSP, Illustrator stuff in there too (a sort of 2D graphics forum?).

Yes, I think it would fit better in the PS forum ... I think the folks most interested in this would be more likely to find it there and thus respond.

I took a quick look at the tute and liked what I saw ... simple and to the point. I'll go through the tute probably next week when I have some time to see if it is really as simple as it looks ( I only have Ilustrator here at work and not at home )
