I wish all the graphics companies were as nice as newtek...Softimage and Alias mean well..but always fall short.

Completly off topic:

Hey NowInc, I wen to you site, and I like it alot. It's great to see people can still use yellow with style!

But I actualy wanted to ask what DruiD was? Just cause I'm too darn lazy to search Google and find out for myself. Some of those Druid Images you had there look really cool, but I've never heard of anything called DruiD before???

Yeah, they fixed quite a few bugs and I haven't yet run into any new ones. But messiah seems to have some button issues from 6.5b, but I'm sure they will fix that soon enough.

The coolest new feature for me is the smoothing of the lighting. You can now do radiosity at a lower sample and it will blur the shadows to get rid of the splotchy stuff. Here is a test render of after and before smoothing. The normal was rendered in 6.5 @~1minute 30 per frame, the smoothed in 6.5b now renders @ ~30 seconds oer frame.

LoL..first::

Thanks for the comments about my web page, I love hearing feedback. To answer your question, DruiD is my band down here in South Florida. Those are just some of the flyers I made to promote us.

Second of all, I must re-tract my statment about how alias and Softimage are lacking when it comes to giving free stuff to customers...

first off, for those who have ordered and recieved their free XSI 1.5 Demo Disks, I found out from a co-worker today that contained on the CD is the FULL color manual, as well as tutorials and videos about XSI.

Second: Not only does Alias have one of the best user help web sites for a 3D program, but the help file for Maya is quite possible the most complete and easy to read out of them all.

Anyway...i just figured i would correct myself from my earlier comment.
