I suppose it looks like this forum will stay.

One question I do have is:
Where do we post CSS questions?

There seems to be a lot of questions, concerning CSS, in the DHTML/JavaScript forum, and rightfully so. We now have the 'XML - XSL - XSLT - XHTML - CSS - DOM' & 'Stupid Basic HTML' forums. Within reason, a CSS question could go into any of these three forums. I don't want to move threads around, but I want to make sure that they are in the right spot, for the time being.

Any opinions Doc?

well, let's trail down this logic...

We can easily make sure things run smoothly. All we must do is rearrange the forums just a bit:

OZONES ASYLUM
.Category: Maximum Security
---------------------------------
.:OZONE
.:HTML
.:CSS
.OM
.:Javascript
.:VBScript
.:XML
.:XHTML
.:XSL
.:XSLT
.:PHP
.:ASP
.:Perl
.:Java
.:SSI
.Category: Visual Therapy
---------------------------------
.:Photoshop
.:Paint Shop Pro
.:MsPaint
...
...
...

.....and so on and so forth... why not make perfect sure we know where to posts go? I've wrought the end to the confusion! Thank me later when you've got to wait for 40 different forums to load before you can search for any interesting topics...

Oh, this forum might continue, I really do think it has value, but the other three might get smushed together, I'm still thinking how best to do this. I haven't forgotten!

Jestah: I suspect InSiDeR was referring to this thread:
www.ozoneasylum.com/Forum17/HTML/000370.html

and the related one you closed while they were trying for 200 posts (it took me a while to put this one in context).

::shrug::

The thread was something along the lines of 180 posts.

Theres no reason for trying to get 200 posts.

if you really want a 'HTML for Dummies' Forum, it's probably 'cause you need it...

...I'm steping out for a cig...

EDIT> but please, change that "XML - XSL - XSLT - XHTML - CSS - DOM" Forum name... it's poison!

well, one must keep in mind that dHTML is simply a combination of Javascript, CSS, and HTML gunk all squished together. If somebody has simple questions about CSS, they can go to the ...CSS... forum formerly "all browsers suck!" specificly html will go here. seriously, i don't think it would be too bad to just add the four letters "HTML" to "'XML - XSL - XSLT - XHTML - CSS - DOM" and hey, XHTML is already in there.. Doc, I think you're heart was in the right place, but all the same, I don't think too much confusion will be over simple HTML. If someone with html problems goes into the expanded "HTML - XML - XSL - XSLT - XHTML - CSS - DOM" forum, there will be more people roaming around to answer faster anyways.

well..... if someone posts a css related question here having read "css" somewhere else, i'm sure that questions fits in the rudimentary mad scientists knowledge section.
