iam really having trouble with dw3 right now. b/c the way i have my layout setup, it doesnt not allow me to add a layer "<div>" within a table.

first i got one big layer "div". within that layer i have a table with two coloumns & two rows. i merged the bottom row for some other purpose, on the first row of the left side goes the nav_bar. on the right side goes the body/content of the site. me being so picky i want both the nav_bar and the body section to be of the same height if one of the side increases in height.

i also want to add a seperate layer "div" so that i can put it on the body section, which i will use as a recent update section.
========================================

what i want to know is that say if i have 2 layers, could there be a way to group those two layers and have the same height if on one side has more info that the other?
========================================

- DONT WANT TO USE FRAMES
- DONT WANT TO USE THE LAYER "OVERFLOW" FUNCTION ESPECIALLY FOR THE NAV_BAR AND THE BODY SECTION

--------- YOU CAN CHECK THE PIC BELOW TO C WHAT I MEAN !

black_knight: Wrong forum - sending this over to HTML.

[edit: One thought is to use the boks zScrollBar:

without frames and overflowed DIVs I think this is your only alternative - does this really need to be in the DHTML forum?]
