I know how hard it is to buck oral tradition and fancy suite toting preachers.

But the religeouse crowd of today is about as useless as tits on a bull as they say it here where i come from. Sort of like the religeouse group of the first century. They teach a fancy song but the song doesnt say anything. The anti christ teaching is rampent amongs the christians. How can you tell. Look at the teaching. Its all name it and claim it, or its poor me the devil has my number and i cant wait for a saviour.

Our church doesnt dangle a carrot on a stick and say follow the carrot which you will never ever get to touch or taste. We say look at the miracle that was recorded in history and ask yourself, where in history has a culture with such a written past and history have written about an encounter with a force not from earth. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is as close as your going to get to a foriegn encounter.

So when i see religeon turn this event into some sort of provision for people to call sin and death exceptable , and that one individual did everything and all we need do is sit back and become professional repenters. Then i say its time for a different view of the christ event and the virgin birth.

Anyone have anything to add here that focuses on the event and what that might mean.

An alien encounter was recorded and all we see is religeon. I say mankind experienced a morph in how humans relate to its universe.

And its powers work. When principles are added to your life that was ment to enrich your life, your world turns into something totaly different then what youve created.

Flashtongue i wouldnt be worried.:-) I am quite saine and of sound judgement. Im just looking for others who share the possabilities ive mentioned in most of my post.

I think the biggest tragedy in religeon is the weak gospel man has created, when the most powerful gospel is still a mystery to most believers.

"Professional repenters..."

I like that! I think I'll use it! Very nice, Apok!

"Anyone have anything to add here that focuses on the event and what that might mean."

We, mere mortals that we are, have the technology to clone a human being. Certainly God could do us one better. He created us in the first place, right? But it's not just birth that should be focused on. There is also life and death.

Here here Apok! Down with phony christians and thier various religions. maybe then someone will actually see Christ. religions have ruined, as intended, the good news and now anyone who acutally believes in the Christ can't say so without being shelled. but then, that was prophecied wasn't it? nice to see the words of Jesus coming to pass.

Allewyn says that is nice to see the word of Jesus coming to pass, where in the bible or other books, or texts find this prophecy?

Me hear another word about jesus/god/... ----> getting sick (want the graphical version???)

Just to make my point clear: if you just want to love your next, why you need J-man for it?
If you actually believe that we and our whole universe has been created by an entity called "God", which has the power to create an universe but has nothing better to do than let his creations suffer (for eternity, if you believe the bible) if they don´t believe in his (,her, its, whatever) existance - well we already are at the Asylum...

0\/erLo4D, I think a better question would be what are we doing about following His advice about loving one another? And, yes, we are in the Asylum.

where toe munchers and opinions run loose
where even lies can tell us where to begin
and truth tellers don't have to tell the truth

nurse ratched isn't listening, so tell me
tell me what it's all about alfie
is there really a way to get free?

where do we go from here?

Bug: my problem is that many christians (no absolutely not all, but enough to fuck up the politics of some countries) tend to think they have some kind of monopoly on love and peace, you know, HIS advice... like the concept of being nice to each other

1. Was never heard of before Jesus

2. Has to be called a religion and not "common sense" or "civilised behaviour"

3. is closely connected with being against homosexuals, contraception, abortion, other religions, atheists, working on sundays and freedom of speech and with believeing that there is a Hell, a Heaven, we did not descend from the apes but from Adam and Eve and the like...

lol are you serious? hahah what do you think poets do? think about what they wanna say? not at all. they write exactly what is on their mind the second they are thinkin of it. if you process then you hesitate, and if you hesitate then you're original idea is lost.

So we let them see what is not there, but they cross the barrier that is everywhere. The barrier they see but do not touch. The barrier that breaks down into dust...

Arthemis wasn't talking about creative or passionate writing, he was talking about reasonable and logical thoughts which benefit a great deal from processing before pasting. Now, there have been artists in the fields of science which have just put thought to paper as quickly as possible in order to retain the thought, but their genius is somewhat rare.

So, if you want to spout off at the mouth than just type as fast as you can get the signals from your brain to your fingers. But if you actually want to sound like you know what you're talking about, a little forethought goes a long way.
