WS: I've heard similar claims before and while I don't want to be too dismissive - but its a load of old tosh!! Its largely based on misreadings and misinterpretations of ancient texts and legends and inaccurate reporting of archaeological evidence. Pretty similar stuff to the rest of the Ancient Astronaut ideas. And a complete lack of sources is an good indication that something is wrong!!

Ok, Emps...maybe you have a point (and maybe you can read sanskrit...). However, there are many things that haven't been explained yet...such as the 'radioactive' bodies found in great numbers, glassified areas in the major deserts of the world, various maps, that are thousands of years old that could only be done from the air, etc, etc.

Now, I'm not suggesting that this article is the truth, or anywhere near it...however, I don't see any other explanation up to this point that even tries to do justice to these 'anomalies' in human history...and that's what is interesting...

One day sherlock holmes and dr watson went camping.
They set up the tent, had dinner and went to sleep.
A few hours later, dr watson wakes up sherlock holmes and says:

- Look at all those stars, holmes, what can you deduce?

- Hmmm - said sherlock holmes - there are more stars than we could ever hope to count, and even more that we can't even see, and, if at least a few of them have planets, that would certainly provide the chance for the existance of a few sufficiently equal to ours... and that would, of course, open the possibility for the existance of life, as we know it, on other planets.

- No, you prick! - said dr watson - Somebody took the tent.
