DS: Could we have a thumbnailed image linked to the main one? - some of us are too lazy to follow the link (well I am), esp. when there are a lot of gmaes going on.

Emp: Sorry no can do thumbnailed image as brinkster does not support it, I know blueyonder does but that is for my site, my dads testing and file uploads. So it can't be done. Unless there is a free host that will let me have direct linking.

Know of any good ones (but not F2S as there full)?

Anyway I will look a host that has dirtect linking when I get home.

DS: Sorry for getting your hopes up there - I was just a little bored. And sorry for getting your hopes up now too!!

If ata can't make it (I hear there was a nasty accident involving balls in the changing room) and as DS has only served perhaps someone would step up to the plate (to mix my metaphors) and respond to this service - thats if ata hasn't got back in touch in a day or so. It seems a shame to waste a good strong initial serve.

ata rises to strike the ball like a sloth swimming through treacle and the crowd waits in hushed anticipation (oh everyone else has nipped off to get some refreshements - I thought it went quite a while ago but I was snoozing). Now that I've finished my scale model of the Eiffel Tower made from tooth picks I might wander off and have a shave as I've grown a beard since DS's serve.

~Decides instead to start the rain dance which will summon the thunderclap and leave ata as only a pair of smoking tennis shoes. A huge, dark, anvil-shaped cloud starts forming over the court~

I wonder if it would be simpler for someone to step in and take over the match?

ata: These things are going to happen and you can put yourself back in the pool when you have more time so I'm wondering if it might be a good idea to let someone else return DS's serve.

Yea nice idea emo, but I think there sould be a RULE that if any person does not reply with in a week (7 days) then some else waiting for a game should take over from the person that has not replyed back.

What do you think about this? I will post this ine the rule post too.

I think that the maxlength of a whole game of 8 turns should be one week. Maybe a little more.

Hey DarkShadow... I'm really sorry.. but I really have alot to do.. it's everything right now.. school, 3dpics, my counter-strike clan, floorball, girlfriend, homepages... I'ts really ok if someone else takes over for me.. but I'd like to play again when I know that I have time for it... sorry...

ata that sounds better, come back when you have time to do it, I'll be very happy to start over again with you when you have time free .

So anyone else want to fill in for ata?

I don't about that wcr one, I have broken the rules before (starting a game that was not for me to start), so let see what WebShaman can do with them spirits

Was that me? I must get that looked at.

Anyway while I'm here, although I'm not saying this in any official capacity, I think the rules are flexible enough for you to start the game afresh in a new thread but using the same ball (if you like DS). DS has been waiting over a week and must be climbing the walls by now (hell I'm getting ulcers!!).

If those in charge have other plans then goodie, otherwise its over to you two and it better be bloody good!! Someone will come along and lock this thread once you start a new one.
