Once you have actually made your connection and started the download speed is determined mostly by the network connection of the server and the client's connection speed,and maybe the type of database the files are in. None of which are affected by which language you code your application in. |

True, the assembly code I did for a month or so in college was MIPS, it used $x to access a register. |
