Who can edit a post?	The poster and administrators may edit a post. The poster can only edit it for a short while after the initial post.

The 4 hours are long enough to correct spelling mistakes and remove what you said if you decide that it was stupid. Chances are, after 4 hours your post will have any number of replies - and it is nice to know you can read just the new posts, without having to read all of the old ones as well, because someone might have changed something. 12 hours are way to long for this purpose. So are 4, but that's already a compromise. The initial time you had to change your posts was 5 minutes! Now I could change it so that you can edit your post indefinatly as long as there isn't a post below yours. But how often would that be? Loading...
