Topic: Flash buttons too slow???

Hi guys ! I need help in a simple problem in flash. I have a movie clip and a button.I want that when I rollon to the button an animation playsand when I roll out another animation plays. I've set it so it logicaly looks like it should work but its having problems.

I have set the time line as such

Actions Layer: stop; action | stop; action | gotoAndStop(1); action
Buttons Layer: Button Instance1 | Button Instance2 |
Animation Layer(s): Roll Over Animation | Roll Out Animation |

The button instances have actions to play when I rollover and rollout respectively.

The thing is that unles I rollover and rollout real slow it gets all mixed up liek I may rollover normally and the rollover animation plays but if I rollover a bit quick it skips or misses the animation, the same goes for rolling out.

This seems like a simple thing to do but practically its driving me nutz. Does flash have a speed problem or so?

hey parity, could you post the .fla file so we could take a peak?
Otherwise, if you're really stuck just up the frame-rate, hehe. That's what i'd like to call an inelegant solution. Still its not pure maths so maybe thats ok

thanx anyway guys I think I accidentally got it sorted out false alarm.. I'll be more careful next time..

It seemed that I forgot to set the rollout action kinda funny if you look at it

i have a movie clip [mc1] with a button in it, the button has another movie clip[mc2] in its rollover state and this clip has a text-region in which i have gievn an instance name bob, i made the text-region with teh text tool and then selected dynamic [thats the right way to do this right?]
