Voodoo, you seem to be slightly talented with Flash but I believe you need a lot of work on your website.

1. What I don't understand is why anyone would cram all of their content into a 1in x 1in area. You set aside an area that looks to be about an inch and a half height and and about 4.5 inches wide (which is small as it is) and then you leave a third of that empty. Why? Fortunately there isn't a lot of content on this website because I would go nuts trying to read it in your little box.

2. Gray and white. I can't imagine a more boring color scheme. Check out Colurs on the Web from Web Whirlers and try to add more color into your website.

3. Your design forces you to have too many inconsistencies. Going back to point #1, because of the size of your viewing area you can only open a few of your sections in your main window. The others require new windows to open. You should have some sort of consistency with the way your site works. If one link targets your current window they all should. It just makes viewing easier.

4. Unless done very well, Flash sucks. In your case it severly limits your content - which should be the meat and potatoes of a persons website. It's unnecessary though. Theres very little that you did with Flash that couldn't be done with JavaScript & HTML. I would suggest for v.5 to limit your use of Flash to perhaps your navigation menu if you insist on using the program and attempt to create a more functional site using HTML, JavaScript, & CSS.

Those are just my points and suggestions though. Even with all of my criticism, its a good effort. I hope you spend more time at the Asylum. I don't believe I've ever seen you here before.

I agree with the grey and white color scheme, way too pale and washed out looking. The name is the site is lost in the header, and it takes forever to load on my laptop at work. I have dialup at work (don't ask) and that is were I do the majority of my browsing. If I hadn't wanted to wait for your site to load so I could see it, then I would have closed the window and gone elsewhere in my browsing.

The other crits that Jestah mentioned are the same for me. Why would you have such a HUGE header area, but constrain your actual content to that comparatively tiny area? It makes no sense. The navigation is hidden in the menu button that you have to click on to open it up. I don't want to play hide-n-seek looking for the links, it's not productive, nor is it particularly user friendly.

There are no "best" colors to use it's what you like. But right now, your site has no contrast to it, it's very bland. Go to the Colors on the Web site that Jestah linked, or go to a hardware store and look through the paint samples (someone else here at the Asylum mentioned that once) and look at all the colors out there. Put them together and next to each other. You have to play somewhat to find something that works for you.

And AFAIK, I'm not a "man," I'm a fem.

I can't even view it because I don't have the *newest* flash plugin. You might want to think about this. All *nix people are not going to have the *newest* version of flash.

Why on earth would we need Internet Explorer to view your site? It's built in Flash, isn't it?

What do you mean by that? If it's Flash, it should look identical as long as you have the latest Flash plugin, regardless of browser.
