Well David, can you draw? Because buying a Wacom when you can't draw is a big waste. Those things are expensive and they arn't going to give you skills you don't already have. |

I can't speak for Greg Martin (his stuff looks great!) but when I texture things, like an interface or a sig, I usually use a bunch layers and paint things directly rather than use filters. For instance, my sigs from the heraldry contest were pretty much hand textured. In fact, the whole winning image was pretty much painted rather than anything else. Welcome to the funny farm, David. Greg Martins stuff is, indeed , very nice, but it seems to be hand painted. As already mentioned, if you don`t already posess paintint/drawing skills. a tablet would be an exxtravagant expense. Best to develop those skills a less expensive way first. Paper/pencil...canvas/paints .....mouse/painter/photoshop...or similar. |

well this is my current situation i have no painting skills, well as close to none.. my drawing skills are averageish tho i really must be focused i can't draw that well when i'm in rumourish place, |
