I'm thinking of using http://thinkro.com/ to register my domain name (9.50 a year full ownership) and provide free hosting. Does this look like an ok deal? This will be my first domain, and if I need to upgrade my hosting they also offer that. My only concern with the free package is the data transfer. 250mb a month, but I doubt I'd be getting 200 hits a month or no more than 800 a year. Here are some of the things that are selling me on this so if you guys know something that would be better for me (and known to be good) please speak up. |

The first plan seems to be all you need at a reasonable price. Shop around eitherway. |

As hugh said before though, check for the catches with the free hosting...no one gives away free hosting; no one. There's always required banner ads, or pop-ups, or something. Because while they given you a list of what the free hosting gives you, they haven't given you a list of what it doesn't give you. |
