Topic awaiting preservation: New Wallpaper... what ya think?? (Page 1 of 1)

I feel wierd about this wallpaper what do you guys think? Is it... balanced enough -- if that is the correct term -- What do you guys think I should add to make it look better. I don't want to lose the theme though.

Yeah, looks that way to me too. You might want to make a HTML page that contains the image, that way we can all see it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Angel Towns a free host? So they don't allow external linking... this makes them stupid?

If it's already up on your site, why don't you just give us the link to its location on your site?

You have to make the old "copy url, paste on the address bar" trick to make it work. Shows how bad hotlinking prvention they have.

I presume your work was pretty much just blur ir, change tones and mess with contrast. While i like the wallpaper (hell, I am using it right now), the actual work put on it is nothing out of the ordinary. I think it'd be good to post the originals, for the sake of comparison.

Viewed the Alevice way
Well templar654 about the photomanip, I think wallpapers are very personal things so on that level if it works for you then it's great.
As an image I like it, I think I would prefer more detail and texture in places.
How did you create it?

Heres the actual images Alevice. There were shot by my friend. He tred to make one of those images where you take several pics and try to merge them in such a way that they look like one. Well didn't work of him. Guess I some how got it right. It was pretty hard since the images were quite off balanced at the start.

i like it, yeah i agree with alevice it's a bit blur ie , but it's cool... that imagestack site is a preety cool thing , i like that even better...
the image merging thing seems intresting , you don't mind if i try playing with the samples ,do you?

Good work merging them. The result is smooth. My opinion on the style does not change, tho :P
