Congratulations. And I hope that documentary will be distributed in the US.

[edit] hum... the typo in the title is from the site of the Festival de Cannes, I copy/pasted it without proofreading it. [/edit]

Sorry for the double thread.

Copied and pasted :

I don't know yet if this documentary is good or not, nonetheless, in my humble opinion it is needed. You know, most humans nowadays have this annoying tendency to be completely blind to what's happening in the world until you open their eyes and fasten their eylid...

I know this documentary will be heavily criticized for its political leaning, but I also hope it will change at least partially the mentalities about the war in Iraq, as Bowling for Columbine did about weapon sales.

Michael Moore's film did good at a French film festival frequented by some of the most liberal people in the world!?! I am dumbfounded.

Why is it called a documentary? I thought it was supposed to be a fantasy film, wasn't it?

My views on Michael Moore should be well known by now and I think Alevice in the other thread put it well with:{quote]I'd see it weren't for the fact Mr. moore's source aren't always really accurate.[/quote]

The fact that the Festival de Cannes is held in France have absolutely no importance if you look at the 9 members of the jury. There's only 1 french in it, in the name of Emmanuelle BEART.
