IE likes to render the page after it has loaded all applicable elements, coupled with the fact that database access takes time after the page is requested, you might just be experiencing some load issues. It will take a while for the content to load. Try turning off the "Full Thread" view. The lag might be with some weird caching associated with this. Since the page didn't load in its entirety it wasn't able to complete the transaction with the web server, and when you return it has your data still saved as you attempting to contact the Dinosaur thread. This is all just theory, based on the limited description, if you could do a little more testing on this, and let me know what the results are I might be able to give a better diagnosis.
