Topic awaiting preservation: What effect is this? (Page 1 of 1)

http://boldtech.net/inprogress/brmb.com/ click on ATTORNEYS on the left. The first 6 images have an effect on them that the last two don't. I've been tasked with recreating that effect for those last two, but can't figure it out.

BTW - IT'S NOT MY CODE! :-) I take no credit in the design. Period. End of story. :-)

I believe it is called sepia...?
Add Adjustment Layer > HSB and check Colourize in the HSB dialog (lower-right).
Play with sliders until happy.

That should give you a good start.

Well...it's called sepia if the color used is....sepia

Otherwise it's just called monochromatic.

As WJ said, an HSB layer will do the trick.
