Interesting test... I took "Tigers in the wild" during 3 minutes.
Gross speed : 57 wpm
Errors : 10 words
Net speed : 54 wpm
Accuracy : 94%
Not bad for a foreign language
The word "throughout" was especially nice... I think I spelled it "thourgouth" lol

uh... gross of 84 wpm, net of 81, accuracy 96% (unfortunatly you couldn't jump around like you can in regular text boxes... I'm usally two to three words ahead of my fingers, jumping back a couple of words to correct something, then moving forward again)... that was a 'one minute, huckleberry finn' test...

Ouch!! I certainly have droppped myy typing speed a bit in the apst few years.
Though I think that I types this post twice as fast as I did that test. Guess my strtegy of looking at the keyboard does not help when you are copying text.

I type on the fly also, so was surprised at how low this was... I also type much faster when I'm thinking instead of trying to read something and type it. Too much going on at one time... But it is a respectable speed:
Gross Speed: 61 wpm
Errors: 1 word
Net Speed: 60 wpm
Accuract 98%

"Strategic Alliances with Competitors" during 1minute
60 WPM, 0 errors. But I'm sure I type faster in a normal editor allowing backspace, SHIFT+arrow to quickly select and remove a misspelled word, etc...

The poster has demanded we remove all his contributions, less he takes legal action.
We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.
Don't follow his example - seek real life help first.

I normally do better than that, but I keep having to keep looking up at it, which makes me slower. It would be better if ithe site dictated it to you through the speakers. I can usually type as someone speaks as long as they're not really fast.

I'm sorry krets...but is that aimed at me? I can sssure you my results were quite accurate. I worked for quite some time doing high speed data-entry. I know how to type quickly, and have alot of practice at doing it. So don't tell me I'm lying again.
