How many of you design your apps from the ground up and how many of you use frameworks? Our devs. created a framework/environment for their uses internally. A while back we got some attention for it and have been reviewed in PHP Architect twice (once for the overall development suite, once for a particular function, "Reports Builder) and did pretty well (4 and 4.5 out of 5 stars respectivly). Next month we have a 3 page spread in Linux World, and I would like to know how received this type of thing is to everyone here.
