Hey all ye floridian inamtes,

I'll be in the sunshine state for the first two weeks of August (till the 16th, to be exact),
and well, I don't have much to do except for a wedding in Jacksonville in the midst of that period...
I'm landing in Fort Myers on the first, and will then make my way up to Jacksonville, from which I'll fly out again
(funny flight scheduldes these time of year).

So, who has time, who has interested, to participate a little Asylum get together, you know, seeing the faces behind the names, etc...

PS: Incidentially, I also don't really have a place to stay yet... I can of course always rent something, but if any of you have a spare bedroom and are interested in having a german student over for a couple of days or weeks, I can promise you I'm low maintanance and would appreciate it.

no inmates in florida?

My dad lives in Tampa. I'm there right now if you can figure out a way to get down here. Otherwise I don't think my dad will be too open minded about driving 2 hours to meet a stranger on the internet =\.

I'll be in Miami around that time. I don't know how close that is.

I'm there from Aug 3rd to Aug 8th.

yahoo maps claims it's 155 miles, a 3 hour drive.

Greyhound says it takes 4 hours... (I won't have a car in Florida).

It'd be fun, and I need to find a new hotel/motel/place to stay after the third anyhow (I've booked a hotel in Fort Myers till then).
So, meeting in Miami would definatly be possible.
