The poster has demanded we remove all his contributions, less he takes legal action.
We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.

I like celtic and other old style patterns and art as well.
Some nice places with different types of patterns are here:
http://www.webomator.com/bws/data/freeart/celtic/celtic_interlace.html
http://www.goldclipart.com/24k/shines22.htm

Perhaps you can find something to build from there.
I'm seriously considering making the shape in my sig a real tattoo.

I made that in illustrator roughly based on a shape from a small piece of jewelry and merged it with the traditional chinese sign that I interpret as the balance between dark & light, good & evil. In short, harmony.
The end shape gives me a sense of power, fluidity and harmony.

Work a lot on the shape you want as a tattoo, remember that it will be part of you for the rest of your life.

There was considerable discussion of celtic knots in the forum about three years ago. You might want to take a look at this thread.

Searching the archives shows a number of other threads about constructing celtic knots.

Perhaps overlaying the cobalt blue, an eye looking out.
Very quick, very poor example, but you get the idea.

Do you have an example of the particular image you are thinking of using?

Are we talking actual celtic style design, or are we talking the 'pseudo-celtic' 'tribal' kind of stuff? Big difference in most cases.

Yes, tribals are more angular and have various shapes and symbols interlaced.
