Hello to everyone?

Have a question that I hope has a simple answer.

I have a graphic that I have sliced up and placed in a table. The graphic is loading perfectly fine in most monitors ? I have tested it a various locations but unfortunately my client is seeing it split up on his screen. For some reason they are just not aligning (?).

I have my table set in pixels - is this correct?

Is there something that I can set in order for my graphic to display on larger monitors w/out splitting up? HELP, HELP, HELP! How can I test my settings for a larger monitor?

Is there a better way for me to be doing this? How does everyone else load a sliced graphic? Am I to be slicing and placing into table cells?

Thanks in advance!

Using tables for layout is counter productive.
You'd rather use the appropriate tool, that is the web standards and especially CSS. Dave SHEA, creator of the CSS ZEN GARDEN, wrote a short list of Standards Resources for Beginners. From the URL I gave you plus those scattered there, you should be able to quickly learn the basics of CSS + (X)HTML.

So no tables anymore - it has been a good 3yrs for me & any web work.

I have for some reason been a bit mystified by all of the CSS tuts on the web, it is almost overwhelming? not knowing where to start anymore (EVERYONE has a tutorial so I guess there are no excuses). I have experience in Dreamweaver & FP but I know deep inside that I need to get past their interface and work from the
bottom up.

Thanks for the links. Although I need to figure out how to fix this problem right now ? I hate to say it, but I can?t read through the material until I get this fixed (need a quick a Band-Aid for now). Then I will go back
and make the proper changes ? I?ll eat the time for the education. I have just signed up for some web development classes - but it doesn't start for a few days. Still stuck right now - any other
quick suggestions?

If you need an über-quick fix. Let fall the slicing and simply put your image in a DIV positionned above the table. You can even do that in the WYSIWYG inteface of DW.
