v2.metavirus.net
TeamVirus established MetaVirus in early 2003 intending to promote rationality through a memetically engineered community. We maintain that a rationally objective and practical understanding of perception's limitations, which inhibit intellectual acuity, is key to the unlocking and development of empathic behavior. We hold true the idea that scientific and rational inquiry open doors to new worlds of knowledge and provides substantial subjects for exploration and governance. The MetaVirus targets a specific audience whom are involved with genetics and memetics, Neo-Darwinian philosophy, and General Semantics. The logo is inspired by the Richard Brodie's phrase "virus of the mind."
I have several essayists onboard for professional writings and at least one other staff member who will probably do the PHP/MySQL backbone. I've been working on this in my spare time. It's not 100% CSS *yet*, the links don't work, and there's no PHP/MySQL backbone either. I'm currently looking for a partner to convert the site to CSS and a partner to write the PHP/MySQL backbone. In the meantime, tables are satisfactory for concept work. I'm definitely going to add a lighter border on the right edge. Criticism/comments? Likes/dislikes? Suggestions? I'm only concerned with the style/look of the site now having already finished the previsualization spiral. _____________ Disclaimer. All opinions by metahuman use objectively defined terms. Use Princeton University's WordNet if you are uncertain of the actual meaning. Have a nice day!
