I really wish that someday OZONE Asylum will be much more than just a discussion board. I really wish that we are not merely Photoshop users or websites makers. I really wish there could me more to see and experience here. It just getting boring for me.

oooooooooor we could work on some sort of 'Hang the Asylumite' game?!?

I always thought the Asylum would be far cooler if there was more to it as well. Like why not combine Guru's Network and the Asylum? The Guru board always seems so dead to me (not that I go there much) and this one is much busier. And there are no cool tutorials laid out in an organized way at Asylum as there are at the Guru's Network, just a few odds and ends in an FAQ. This place would also be cooler if PS pong was attached to it or the Asylum became part of pspong.com. Or you combined all 3 (Gurus, asylum and pspong) into one super site.

I also wish there was more participation and that there were more people who would be willing to share ideas related to graphics, PS and art as those are the areas I visit most. I don't think there are enough voices or participants sometimes.

I go in spurts with the Asylum. I won't visit for weeks or months at a time, then I'll be here every day for a month or two. If there was more to do here, I'd probably be more of a regular poster or participant.

Overall though, I like this place and will always visit as long as it's around.

Yeah, most people are here in spurts, and that's just the nature of this place.

But remember: A lot of this place is what you make it to be. If you want to hear about cool stuff, post cool stuff yourself.

There are lots of other webmaster forums out there.

Ozone Asylum KILLED my inner child.

Actually, I used to post and participate all the time in speed painting, make-it exercises, pong, etc. I still take part in sig contests. But I began to lose some interest when so few others participated. The weekly "Make-it" died due to lack of participation as did speed painting. I think the last speed painting thread I started died a slow death.

I think more features would bring more people and encourage more participation. I do go to other places for my art fixes now, like Concept Art and Gfxartist.com but I still quite like this place and (most) of the people and I'd like to see it grow.

Anyway, I'm just sharing a personal opinion of what I think could make this place cooler since Skaarj asked for suggestions. I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad about the way things are. Sorry if I implied that

I am not here as often as I'd like to be atm, but as I'm often heard saying, "the more you put into something the more you get out of it". What is it you would like to see here Rick, what kind of thing?
Personally I would like to see huge cash prizes for Taoists who manage not to get riled by arrogant and agressive inmates who tell them to F*** off for no good reason

Amerasu: The reason all those things have died out is because people get tried of the same thing over and over again. You need to add in some spice, like for instance the 'Pong Me' thread. I think it's among the most active and most replied to threads on the asylum why because it's not just any ordinary pong game. It's one with a difference!

I don't think adding the Guru's and PS Pong would make a huge difference, you're just going to be mixing two forums into one. Although I am in favour of reincarnating those died out rituals of the Asylum most which I for one have been longing to participate in

I'm also in favour of this mysterious echo that's been giong around that this place is what you make it to be. And finally like Mr. Chill Pill says:

Still we had a good deal of fun and amusement over the years i like this place because it has not all those distracting "fun things" to dig thru
