Topic awaiting preservation: America's Assignment (Page 1 of 1)

I was discussing some of the current events, (Iraq, war, democracy, American and European issues) with one of my teachers. On the fallowing day he sent me, this specific article from newsweek. I do not know if any of you have read it, but it brings up some interesting points.

I would like to hear some of your oppinions regarding this essay, especially ones Webshaman, Poi, MW and Bugs.

It's pretty long...around 5000 words, but worth reading IMO.

Are you talking about the article titled "America's Assignement" by Henry A. Kissinger ? If so, I'll try to read it this WE.

Kissinger may be a lot of things, but one thing he is not, is dumb. I have a lot of respect for his knowledge of international affairs. He hits on a lot of points that I consider important, and real.

Anyone who ignores his judgement and thoughts are making a huge mistake, IMHO.

Now let us all hope that Mr. Bush can read.
