Yes there are a few other applications out there that do similiar things or try to at least...but this was great when I saw it. |

yeah, such systems look cool. And are bloody useless in practice. At least when they're trying to be a WIMP (windows, icons, menues, pointer) interface as well. |

I've tried SphereXP a while back, and liked some things about it (the metaphor is excellent for organizing large amounts of windows on your screen at once). Howeverm the product as it currently stands is not well-enough integrated into the system and far too flashy for any practical purposes I'd have for it. |

Interesting I just downloaded it. I usually work with a lot of programs open at once. It can be quite frustrating hitting the minimize button over and over again to get to the desktop when it gets crowded. This actually helps out a bit. Not sure if I'll get used to it or not though. Thanks for the link! |
