I'm on the last couple of chapters of Zeldman's Book A great read, and very informative. I'd like to read some more books on the topic of web design. Any suggestions? Eric Meyer's books on CSS look like they may be next up.

You could check Web Standards Solutions: The Markup and Style Handbook by Dan Cederholm aka the man behind the redesign of espn.com, fastcompany.com, some blogger templates...
And of course,

Another book, is highly anticipated : The Zen of CSS Design : Visual Beauty for the Web ( released in january 2005 ) by Dave Shea & Molly E. Holzschlag. Both are active members of the Web Standards Project., and Dave Shea is among other things the creator of the CSS ZEN GARDEN.

Both of those are on my amazon wishlist . I've always been a fan of the zen garden, maybe I'll be able to get that one with some xmas cash since it comes out in January. Zeldman seems to really recommend Building Accessible Websites by Joe Clark as well. I hope to pick up that one later on.

heh - i went to a conference just the other month with joe clark, dave shea, and douglas bowman, to mention a few. (also a video message from mr zeldmen, heh) Definitely enlightening stuff... You may find some useful slides here : http://www.we04.com/resources/ ... but then again, you may not. context is very useful, and you're missing a bit of that when you don't have the presenter presenting the slides!
