The situation is, my father is planning to pack away this computer im using to the Philippines (im in Australia). What's going to happen to my files then? Will this computer work there though? Will i be able to access my files there? or should i backup all of them here now? |

Well.... as the computer will now be in the Philippines, you won't be able to access it unless a) you're in the Philippines as well or b) your father hooks the computer up to the internet and gives you access to it. |

^ditto^ If they are important enough to worry about losing them, then the files should be backed up onto a seperate disk. |

Buy a HardDrive.. connect it as a slave...'select all' or only your files frm the master 'copy' to new HD... then when you buy another 'puter... you're good to go. |
