Based on the log file, I believe that when a browser is used to connect to an FTP site, the default is to connect using passive FTP because most of the attemps are passive. And my log file shows errors for passive connections. I don't know what's going on but it's not good. Sometimes I see successful connections, some of you even uploaded files to the ftp, but many failures, mostly in passive mode. |

I clicked on the index file in browser mode and got "error 550 path does not exist" when the page was loading. |

I don't know how to set passive or active FTP in Firefox. In IE, we can go to the Internet Options, then Advanced, there is a setting for "Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem compatibility) but actually, PASSIVE mode seems to be the one not working. |
