Here whats in mine, it looks relatively basic. A flat board with lines going down on one side , across on the other.

Uh, I'd assume the same thing is in mine, though I'm not about to tear it apart to find out...

Oh and it still works by the way, was havin' trouble with it (different post). I was hoping I'd accidently fix it somehow It seems a little better now, buts its just mad how expensive they are, the white board under the green stuff is polystyrene then there's like a thin metal board which was all staticy. Oh I should mention if anyone else has the urge to split they're Wacom in two. You dont need a screw driver ! Clickidy tab things ! great.

I'm laughing so much because it's probably one of the things I would have resorted to too, working on the "accidently fix it" theory of computing
So is it totally up and working OK now? I'm looking forward to perhaps seeing some of the stuff you do once you have grown accustomed to it.
