Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am needing help with Illustrator 9.0 and Quark. I just started working in Illustrator 2 months ago and Quark 2 days ago. I created several advertisements in Illustrator with photos and transparencies, adn all the drop shadowing and cool stuff, but when I bring the images over to quark to lay them out they look like crap. Can you or someone please help me with this. I have to take the publication to the printers in a week and I don't know what to do.
