I'm currently in the third week of my isometric pixelart craze and I'm working on a project for pixelmoon.

It's a personnel transport and each pixel was placed with tender loving care, or at least a minimum amount of swearing.

I'd like some c+c before I submit it. I'd really like to improve with this, so be as brutal as you like. I've taken great pains with the scale and the perspective, there are about 8 layers of guides, but I could be missing something after looking at it for so long.

That is some amazing detail! I looked hard and couldn't find anything wrong with it... Did you even do the ground pixel by pixel?

The ground tile is already provided. It looks nice, but i could not tell it was a vehicle. Sorry :P

I like the prisoner escort

what you have there, while cool looking isn't screaming vehicle to me either. I like the intakes but the rest is rather flat

Hmmm, it does look rather plain. I guess it's the winnebago of space shuttles. I'll have to spice it up a bit.

You should also animate it to hover up and down a little...

And I hate you. =) After seeing that shuttle, i decided to give pixel art a try and I spent over 3 hours making a house and reading tutorials and pixel pushing tips all over the internet. I have a new respect for you guys, but it is fun =)

Yeah, it is a lot of fun. It reminds me of playing with legos. The other thing is that I'm learning a lot about colors, shading, and the way shadows fall over solid objects.

I put together a couple of images depicting the devlopment stages if anyone's interested.

I've also got a picture of the pixel house I did over at deviantart, clicky. I guess pixel houses are the first thing anyone does.

Here is the house that took me 3 days.

It was really fun but I learned real fast to save everytime I did something new.

Thanks, DG. It's good to see you in these halls again.

I've taken everyone's suggestions and totally revamped the whole thing. I'll post it up for c+c in a bit. And thanks again for all the comments.
