OK, why is it all over the Internet, I'm always seeing a little picture saying Jan 25 1994? All the time. They're everywhere. I don't know if it's important, but just what does it mean? I don't know. Do you?

Well it's just a little thing which you get amongst actual text. It looks like this:
It's probably nothing major, but I was just wondering what it was.

It's a day before my youngest sibling was born.

I looked up on Wikipedia and I couldn't find anything relating to that date. I've never seen such a banner before, either, so I don't know what you're talking about.

Is it just in bulletin boards or php pages? If so may be a side effect of new php worms, dunno.

It almost looks like it's a misinterpreted character from a different character set (unicode or something). I know on my system, if the character set is wrong, firefox will display a little box with the hex code of the character (eg FF FD).

I found the site you took a screenshot of (http://www.codingforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2 right?), and didn't see any weird symbols even switching the character set. On the other hand, some other posts in that forum show up with weird symbols for me.

No Jan, 25 1994 symbol:

Yeah, it was CodingForums. I haven't seen the symbol that you do though, abb.
Hmm, I thought it might be something obvious that someone would be able to tell me about in the first reply. It doesn't show up in the page source or on the actual thread on CodingForums. So I'm still stumped.
