However the first direction to look at is : http://httpd.apache.org/ and especially the documentation. From your previous thread I guess you've got a version of Apache 2 installed now, therefore check Apache HTTP Server Version 2.0 Documentation and especially the User's Guide. There's some clear example of how to map an URL to the filesystem and many other things.
