Hello ppl.
I got stuck.
I need a new signature for some forums.
IF it was for Asylum i might have pulled it off, couse what i really want is one of thoose moon things Mahjqa and others did.
the animated ones.
But the forums im on has light blue bgr.

So thats it, im out of ideas to make something cool that fits on lightblue bgr.
And i need some inspiration.
What would work well with a light blue bgr?
Any tips and i would be greatfull.

Spellbinder.

Ps.
I really need to get rid of the christmas sig.
Ds.

What does it matter what the background color is? That's really just a formality in terms of the creative process. No one can help you be creative - that's something you either are or aren't. Mahjqa happens to be incredibly creative and resourceful, and clearly understands how to use the tools provided to him in Photoshop/Imageready/Whatever applications he's using. IMO, creativity isn't something that can be taught.

As for inspiration, well that can come from anywhere. Inspiration can even come from lack of inspiration.

My advice to you is to play around with nonsense until an idea starts to form, then when you're satisfied, go to town with it.

Or....if you want to do "one of thoose moon things", then DO IT.

As Synax stated, the background color that it has to be on is irrelevant to actually doing it. It needs to be considered, of course, when determining exactly how to do it.

But don't let it be an excuse not to do it...

Anything can look good on a light blue background, if done properly.

Thanks for the insight guys.
I agree about the creativity stuff, that i must have by my delf.
However its the inspiritation that is lacking.
But thats a good statement that i shouldnt let it stop me.
And also lack of it could bring something out.
About the bgr i dont rally know.
I have tryied to do Mahjqa´s fire anim which i did rather ok, and it looks good on this foum with this bgr.
But when i tryied it on a forum with lightblue color it didnt come out that waell, at least i thought so.
I will take your thoughts with me and start up photoshop (which i havent touch for a while in lavk of inspiration) and maybe something will spring from it.

Thx a bunch, as allways you guys give me inspiration even when there is no inspiration to be found

Spellbinder.

edit: cant spell insight insifgt.

I don't think looking for inspiration in front of your computer is a good idea. Inspiration won't come from the Photoshop interface, but anywhere or anything else will do... My favourite inspiration spots are gathering places such as streets, train stations, coffee places and pubs, and so on.
Hope this may help you.

Watch the movie Wizards by Ralph Bakshi.
Then watch Ninja Scroll.
Then, if you can find it, Gahan Wilson's The Kid.

One of those should inspire.
