I like the effect of the banner: it looks a bit like a note stuck on a wall.

The poster has demanded we remove all his contributions, less he takes legal action.
We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.
Don't follow his example - seek real life help first.

Actually I was/is in the groups called : Amnesic Cactus, and ribbon. I'm rather retired now. The web development took over my demo coding but I'm still lurking and active in my way ( via 256b.com, coding quietly on Atari, drawing some icons for Pouet, and recently I made a GreaseMonkey user script for Pouet that I'll disclose when/if PS makes a little change in the markup of Pouet )

Were you in a group ? or released a demo related prod ?

Which one ? the cover is picked at random.

I don't know who she is. AFAIR that's an old pic I cleaned and touched up a little.

or
which is a crop of triethylenediamine a pic I presented at the ARF party 99 ... which makes me think that I should add a "Graphism" category on my site

[edit] reformated a bit that post. Using an UL for 2 items was not a good idea [/edit]

sorry, I don't remember where I got it. Probably on the net or I scanned it in a magazine a long time ago.

Nope I'm not involved in the web development of Pouet. I introduced them to the CSS capabilities of FireFox and the like to alter the display of the messages of certain annoying users. And I made a lot icons when PS asked for some representing the platforms. Oh and I also did that 88x31 button

Recently the level of stupidity of certain users reached an all time high, so I made a GreaseMonkey user script to mark some users as "attention whores" and hide them. The userIds and the flag telling if want to show or hide their messages are stored in a cookie. Alas the HTML markup of the oneliner on Pouet is not standard ( the FORM tag is between the TABLE and TR tags ) so I need that PS fixes that before making the user script public.

I like the banner, as most people do, but I think it might be nice if you try a hide/show effect with a DIV tag just below the banner or make the drop menu flush with the content area. Just a thought, though.

Thank you for the feedback.

What do you mean exactly by hide/show effect below the banner ? could you give an example.

I thought to make the banner fade to another banner progressively.

If you watched the site with a standard compliant browser, that is Opera, Safari or better FireFox ( which supports the :last-child CSS3 pseudo element ) you'll see a shadow around the submenus which make it flush a bit.
