Quite enjoyed him... as Letterman said... everybody who came after him are 'pretenders.'

And I never thought for a moment that Ed would out live him.

I heard about this when I got home... Truley a sad moment... I remember when I was 7-8 and would sneak out of bed to watch him.

I agree NoJive, but I don't think Ed will ever die, I think he made a pact with the devil, like Dick Clark. =P

Yeah, when I was a kid I used to look forward to watching the show every night.
