birdonawire Neurotic (0) Inmate Newly admitted From: Insane since: Jan 2005	posted 01-30-2005 23:39 When I try to use most actions in PS I get an error message saying "this command is not available". I'm making sure I select something when it is required, but I still get the message. Can anybody help?

If that's not the issue - are you on an active visible layer? Are we talking actions you pick up here and there on the net, or standard included actions, or actions you make yourself?
birdonawire Obsessive-Compulsive (I) Inmate From: Insane since: Jan 2005	posted 01-31-2005 14:59 I think the problem may have been a combination of the things you mention. I'm using Photoshop CS but some of the actions that I downloaded may have been made for an earlier version. The actions that came with PS seem to work if I make sure I've got the right layer selected, etc. Thanks for your help!
