Topic awaiting preservation: Water, Water everywhere and some you can drink (Page 1 of 1)

Here is something that i find a little confusing.
Studies show that boys have a tendency to be taller than girls while in high school. So if that is true why do they mount the taller drinking fountain closer to the girl's restroom? Wouldn't it make more sense to do it the other way round if the case study is true? Also almost one hundred percent of the time the shorter one is broken somehow or doesn't work quite as well as the taller one. Why is that? Could it be showing just how dumb most high shool boys are?

I ithnk, perhaps, becuase girls have an objecting to bending as far over from the hips as boys do... that whole sexual thing. I don't really know, I'm simply guessing my head off.

Seems more like a scheme for the boys to use the tall fountain and be closer to the girls.

However, I've often thought it was funny that drinking fountains are seem to be always located near restrooms. Granted that intake and output have connections, but I have to wonder if there's a lot of people that get a drink, and then go "oh oh, I've gotta go!"....

It is more, I just urinated, let me get some refreshing fluids into my body.

I would also think that the positioning was something purely stylistic, and it caught on. I am sure if you spend a little time with google you will be able to find the real reason.
