Pugzly/RunningWolf has left the hosting business. I've offered small hosting package stuff now for the folks that run around here (and there), but no ASP. If the only thing using ASP is the contact form, that's very easily overcome. PHP is available, among other things. Feel free to contact me if need be, site lays it out pretty good tho if you read through.

I prefer PHP, but I need to run a script that is ASP powered, thus the need for ASP hosting.

*EDIT*
oops, sorry for the double post
*/EDIT*

I need a zipcode locator script. My client would like to have the ability for visitors to enter their zipcode and find the store nearest to them.

Actually I would not mind paying a "reasonable" fee for a good php zipcode locator script.

I think this also came up a whole bunch of times in the server side forum over the past 6 months or so, if you search the archieves I am sure you will come up with something solid on that end.

Thanks JKMabry,

After making the original post, I did find the sites you posted. Now I'm still looking for a new host. I am interewsted in becoming a reseller of domain hosting for my clients.

Using Dreamhost or some other provider you can do something similar to what I'm doing with serveit, or are you talking about getting dedicated hosting? Sounds like you've come a long way from your initial request of a cheap spot to park your butt If you need any help figuring this out holler and I can make Dreamhost based recommendation for either reselling shared or dedicated.

Actually I was looking for something that is "plug n play". I had found an ASP script a couple months back and it works well, but the rest of the site will be in php. I think http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_Programs/E-Commerce/Store_Locators/ should do the trick. Now I still need a new host. The one I have been using has never heard of the term "five nines."

In order to have both PHP and ASP support, you're going to be running on an IIS platform. And PHP on IIS is very limited compared to PHP on a *nix platform. And I'm a Microsoft guy!

Thanks for the plug hyperbole.

I don't do Windows hosting so can't help Wavmixer with ASP, but I do offer reseller hosting.

Reselling is unadvertised on my site since, so far, every reseller has had different needs, so we negotiate something that works for us both. I've found the practice also helps me assess the legitimacy and solidity of the potential reseller and their clients. Call me old-fashioned, but I've learned there's no such thing as "easy money." I'd rather go through the work up-front, and maybe even turn down the business, than have to clean up unpleasantness afterwards.
