Topic awaiting preservation: Best java apps (Page 1 of 1)

Can you tip me on some of the best & biggest java apps there is out there?
I'd like to try them and see if Java is everything it's cranked up to be.
- I'm considering trying my hand at it, and would like to see what has been done before in a more extensive way.

Java and JavaScript are as different as Coke and Pepsi... do you want to know about Java, or do you want to know about JavaScript?

If you're after Java info, I'd try a Java forum.

Hmm...what about runescape (?). I found that pretty impressive (but, its been years since I saw it).

That is just a perposterous question.

The right question might be, what do you need it to do? Then do some research to see if it does that. You need to head over to java.sun.com and do some reading on Java it really sounds like you have no idea what you are trying to get into.
