Topic: To align vertical text? (Page 1 of 1)

Hi guys
I have a table cell with some text in it written vertically as the following style applies:

.verticalalignment

{

filter: fliph() flipv();

writing-mode:tb-rl;

}

The thing is that I am ahving a hard time to align it to the table cell. I've increased the table as much possible but the text though displayed vertically doesn't align itself vertically AND doesn't expand on the extra space. Its confined as though there's barely enough room for the text to fit on in one line even though the table cell container is big enough to accomodate the text.

try adding this:

white-space: nowrap;
