One day, you get lost in the wilderness while traveling. It gets dark
and you have no choice but to seek refuge in a small hut nearby. The
owner tells you all his rooms are haunted. Which room will you choose?

The room where:

Room (A)
- a human head stares at you maliciously from outside your window

Room (B)
- the bathroom door creaks open and close, and there are sounds of a
woman sighing

Room (C)
- the bed starts rocking violently whenever you try to sleep on it

Room (D)
- a headless ghost sits at the foot of your bed when you awake in the
middle of the night

Hmmm... make one comfortable choice, and let us know why!

Well let's get it straight I don't think I'd be getting much sleep in any room!

The thought of someone staring maliciously from outside my window makes my skin crawl just thinking about it.

The sound of the bathroom door might keep me awake but wouldn't scare me much. The women sighing, it's difficult to say, but I think I could handle this one, she doesn't sound like she'd be threatening.

The bed rocking!? Not unless I've put some money in, no way, I'd get a headache.

Headless ghost, at first thought I'd pick this one, as I don't think ghosts can harm me, but I don't know how i'd handle seeing one anyway, don't really believe in 'seeing' ghosts, but if I did I expect I'd freak out a little, but this would be my second choice after option B.

Why would you make us think about these things, why!?

After careful consideration I would have to say I would choose to sleep in room C.
If I were travelling in the wilderness, I would have some sort of sleeping bag with me. So I would not even try to sleep on the bed, so eliminating the rocking, and sleep on the floor.
Actually I think I would sleep outside rather than that odd sounding hut.

I could handle all of those scenarios. When you have kids, most parents learn two very important skills: wake up at the slightest noise, yet sleep when you can through anything. Not too hard for me to switch between those two modes of sleeping.

Well, the rocking bed might be hard depending on how violently it rocked.

If things were really bad, I would probably steal a pillow, some blankets, and sleep outside.

Then again, there is another skill that most parents learn: survive without sleep for a day or two. All you got to do is watch your diet and physical activity. Longest I've lasted is 3 days with no serious side-effects.

Oh, yeah. I grew up in a haunted bedroom and it didn't bother me one bit. My ghost was fond of rattling the doorknob. Was also fond of opening and closing the closet door. Did a few other little things, and none of it bothered me.

I would choose Room (D)

A headless ghost that only disturbs me when I get up means that if I sleep soundly through the night there's no problem. This is far and away the least scary choice for me.

Room (A) - Eye contact is extremely powerful, especially to an introvert and so this one is out of the question.

Room (B) - Scary sounds disrupt sleep patterns even if they do not fully awaken you. I wouldn't get a wink of sleep under these conditions. In fact, frightening sound is often times far more horrifying than frightening vision.

Room (C) - I want some sleep so this one just wouldn't work at all.

I need my sleep, dang it!!!

It'd feel like I had some female companionship...

Room D would be a last resort.... B & C are completely outta the question! I'm a whimp!

Anything but B and C - because if it isn't making noise, I can go to sleep.

A, no way. Had this happen and I ended up putting bullet holes through the wall.

B, Most likely my choice, I could sleep through the door but I may be turned on a lot in my sleep.

C, Yeah, losing my dinner while trying to sleep. No way.

D, Reminds me of something else that happened in real life. So no.

I guess my answer is B. It's better to be horny and asleep than scared and awake.

The explanation would suit me to an extent too, but only because I'm lazy. The reason I'd pick B is because those noises can be brushed off easily as being non-spiritual. Door creaking, used to it. Woman sighing .. baths can make those noises, trapped air etc..
I'd have no problem nodding off there.

(A) Would be my next option, get out the window, kick the crap out of the pervert. Problem solved.

Then (D) waking up and finding a head would be cool, and you would then have proof of ghosts etc.. How scary would it be, it reminds me of the Black Knight from the Holy Grail "come back , ya pansy, I'll bite your legs off".

The best way to get to sleep is to try stay awake, therefore the bed would not rock and you could nod off peacefully.

C - I'm cool on the floor, and actually...rocking has always relaxed me, even as a child.

I'd select B.

Right so there is a head outside, and an headless body inside they might belong together. I would take the head to the body to see if it matches. If so the ghost's need for ghosting might stop (the ghost disapears) or he might be friendly to me which is also very good. Even if the ghost will stay in room D and is not friendly a can go to room A.
Or i might go to the room B and use some snakeoil to oil the door and shut it, some banging on the neighbours wall almost always stops the sighting from women.....

I figured I would close the blinds after entering the room. Either way, it mentions nothing of him making noise. Best choise for me.
