Topic awaiting preservation: I'm new to JS and need a good tutorial (Page 1 of 1)

Hello everyone, I'm interested in learning javascript. I've found a couple resources but I want everything to be standard complient, I don't want to go through a tutorial only to learn that half of it will only work in IE. Can anyone point me to a good tutorial? I want to learn everything from simple forms to graphics. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

You should check the Real questions for real people. thread, along with the DHTML/JavaScript.
Basically, download the official specifications/references, use a standard compliant browser if you want to manipulate the DOM or CSS, and code.
