Topic awaiting preservation: fireworks problem... (Page 1 of 1)

Didn't really know where to put this sin ce it's not Photoshop, so I'm putting it here. In Fireworks I'm trying to do a colour find-and-replace. I press Ctrl+F, select the colour I want to replace, the color I want to replace it with, click Replace All and...nothing. If anyone can point out what I'm doing wrong, I will be eternally grateful. Thank you.

What do you mean? All I get in Firefox when I hit Control+F is a simple word search on the current page. Is it an extension you added?

Fireworks, Xpirex...

I made a simple purple square with the Rectangle tool.
I hit control F.
Search Document, Find Color
Placed the eyedropper on my square.
Left the "change to" as black (default)
Left "Apply to" "fills & strokes" (default)

Hit Replace All - and it worked, my square became black

call adobe for support...i mean once the merger goes thru

um, not to sound stupid or anything, but what is firefox, and fireworks?
