The Acid2 test ( cf IE7 and the web standards ) is online since few days now. And Safari seems to be on the right track to pass it. I've tested it in Internet Explorer 6.0, Opera 7.54 and FireFox 1.0.1 ( sorry that's the only browsers I have at work ) and the quality of rendering is in the same order, but rather low. |

I don't know what you're smoking, but no browser has yet passed the test. |

Loaded my own peace-pipe pretty heavily and it still looked like a mess on FF_1.0.3 to me... |

Didn't Safari2.0 pass the test? I'd run it through but I'm lazy right now. |

I doubt Safari 2.0 passes the test. Dave HYATT made Safari (custom build) pass the Acid2 test, but the 2.0 version was in the development long before the test was even online. But Safari 2.1will certainly contains the CSS fixes Dave HYATT made. |

Won't the evolving requirements of web developers always make demands that necessitate appropriate improvements to the test that ultimately ensure no browser will ever (and always) pass the test unadulterated? |
