Topic awaiting preservation: Safari passes the Acid2 test (Page 1 of 1)

Congratulations to Dave Hyatt for making Safari pass the Acid2 test!

Hope they can get it into an official build soon.

It is, after all, a long way from http://www.paristemi.com/images/browsershots/safari.jpg (which is supposedly a shot of 1.3 beta) to the correct rendering.

...and what other browser makers would you be referring to?

There's almost no chance that Mozilla 1.8 and FireFox 1.1 pass the Acid 2 Test since their development began many weeks/months ago.
But for Mozilla 2.0 ( or 1.9 if there is a 1.9 ) and FireFox 1.5 I have no doubt.

Other browser vendors = Mozilla, Opera, and MicroSoft.
