Synergy is a little open source software let the users having some Mac(s) and a PC(s) share their mouse,keyboard,clipboard,... between the computers and all you need is to move the mouse through the edge of one screen to make it appear on the other.

I wish I had a Mac to test that

Well, maybe not quite OSX ready. But it should be fun *nix users.

Sweeeet.
Fun even for just Windows... I've got my lab computer and laptop hooked up right now. And just yesterday I was thinking something like this would be awfully handy, moving bits and pieces of code from one project on one computer to another on the other computer.

resio - Was this video not enough?

No...that's not a video, that's just some animation someone made up to demonstrate what it's supposed to do, not what it actually does.

For something that works with just windows you might want to try this...

I frequently am running OS X and several Linux Desktops at the same time.

osx2x is great for controlling each box with one mouse and keyboard.

mas - I ran into that too (even having read, or at least glancing through, the how-to, but this fixed it)

quote:
Note that when you tell synergy that screen A is to the left of screen B this does not imply that B is to the right of A. You must explicitly indicate both relations. If you don't do both then when you're running synergy you'll find you're unable to leave one of the screens.
